DHAKA, Aug 24: Education and Primary and Mass Education Minister Dr ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon has announced that the government will organize national-level Quran competitions across different levels of education.

The minister said the initiative aims to strengthen students’ moral and religious values.

He made the announcement in a Facebook post on Monday (August 24).

According to the minister, Quran competitions will eventually be organized at the national level in educational institutions across the country. The government has taken the initiative to introduce these competitions at different stages of education as part of efforts to promote students’ moral and religious values.

The minister had previously announced plans to organize Quran competitions in educational institutions on June 18.

At the time, he said the government was working in a coordinated manner across all areas of education. Organizing Quran competitions in educational institutions would be part of those efforts, with the aim of promoting students’ morality, family values and religious values, he said.
