Nasiruddin Patwari Declared Unwanted in His Home District Chandpur

A rally and public gathering were held in Chandpur to mark the founding anniversary of the Jatiyatabadi Swechhasebak Dal. At the gathering, BNP’s chief coordinator Nasiruddin Patwari came under strong criticism for his recent remarks. Chandpur district BNP General Secretary Advocate Salim Ullah Selim declared him unwelcome in Chandpur.
On Wednesday (August 20) afternoon, a rally was brought out from in front of the district BNP office. It passed through several important roads in the city before ending in front of the party office. Leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliated and allied organizations took part in the rally.
At the gathering following the rally, Chandpur district BNP General Secretary Advocate Salim Ullah Selim delivered a speech. He criticized Nasiruddin Patwari’s recent statements and declared him unwelcome in Chandpur. He also urged all other speakers at the gathering to behave responsibly and use respectful language when making political statements.
It may be noted that earlier, in September 2025, BNP and leaders of its affiliated organizations in Chandpur Sadar had reportedly declared Nasiruddin Patwari unwelcome and staged protests against him, according to reports published in various media outlets.
